The Ceremony

This depressing melodrama finds Sean (Laurence Harvey) detained in a prison in Tangiers. His brother Dominic (Robert Walker) plans to spring his brother from jail to avoid being executed for a murder he didn't commit. Meanwhile, Sean's girlfriend Catherine (Sarah Miles) is busy taking comfort in the arms of Dominic during Sean's absence. This uneven, uninspired and uninteresting film was produced and directed by Harvey and as every bit as depressing as the setting of his Tangiers prison
