Opposing Force

An Air Force officer must fight for survival after her commander flips out during a training exercise and decides to prove that women don't belong in the military by waging a real battle upon her. Lieutenant Casey (Lisa Eichhorn) is the first female Air Force officer to undergo the elite escape and evasion training for reconnaissance pilots. When she learns that she is to be left upon a tropical island inhabited by a mock enemy force and that she and others are to avoid capture, she is eager to prove her mettle. Unfortunately, she has no way of knowing that the leader of the would-be captors (Anthony Zerbe) has had a mental breakdown and plans on playing for keeps. To survive, Casey hooks up with Major Logan (Tom Skerritt) and together they fight towards safety.
