Ocean's 11 [50th Anniversary] [Blu-ray]

This is a frothy romp through a complex caper meant to deliver the cash from several Las Vegas hotels into the hands of eleven scheming buddies. The name actors, all Rat Pack veterans and their friends, are mostly having fun as themselves -- not that it matters to the story that much. Danny Ocean (Frank Sinatra), Sam Harmon (Dean Martin), Josh Howard (Sammy Davis, Jr.), and Jimmy Foster (Peter Lawford) think they have a foolproof plan to rob the hotels. What they do not count on is the expertise of a real professional crook, Duke Santos (Cesar Romero) who is working against them, of course. Other big names enhance the cast: George Raft, Akim Tamiroff, Angie Dickenson, Patrice Wymore, Ilka Chase, Richard Conte -- and the list goes on and on.
