In this romantic comedy, an ambitious but naive independent director will do anything to get his highly personal film entered into the Cannes Film Festival. Upon arrival at Cannes he has a passionate affair with the helpful wife of a prominent Italian producer. The film takes place at the festival and features many inside jokes about the film industry.
