A teenage girl named Rhiannon (Angourie Rice) falls in love with a being known as "A," who wakes up each day in the body of a different person. Rhiannon tries to maintain their relationship as "A" continues to possess people of various races, backgrounds, and genders, and their journey together gives her a fuller understanding of humanity.
