Natasha (Yara Shahidi) is a girl living in New York City who has less than 24 hours before her family is deported back to Jamaica. During this time, she unexpectedly meets and instantly falls in love with Daniel (Charles Melton), a Korean-American. Together, they try to defy a universe that is working to keep them apart.
