Perpetual Peace

As its name implies, the movement known as the Perpetual Peace Project was formed to reduce geopolitical conflict around the globe. Built around (and named after) the 1795 Immanuel Kant essay "Perpetual Peace: A Philosophical Sketch," the PPP has engineered several groundbreaking initiatives, including a New Museum installation, a UN conference, a fiction film, and ultimately, this documentary. The program brings a diverse array of public thinkers, pundits and philosophers together to comment on the nature of peace, the conditions necessary to achieve it, and the unilateral organizations that may prove instrumental in doing so, such as the United Nations.
