A singer as celebrated in his native Mexico as Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley are in the United States, the colorful Vicente Fern?ndez singlehandedly popularized Spanish-language ranchera music, and sold a whopping number of albums in the process, totaling sales of around 50 million copies.
