Based on a novel by Erskine Caldwell, this film revolves around Ty Walden (Robert Ryan II), a farmer who is certain that his land contains a buried fortune. With the help of his sons, Shaw (Vic Morrow) and Buck (Jack Lord), Ty struggles to exhume the treasure while threatening to destroy his farm.
