Four Yankee bunglers hatch a hare-brained plot and attempt to kidnap a notorious crime boss and hold him for ransom. Unfortunately, the old don is bankrupt and lives off his moll's income. The cagey mobster then suggests that the four help him steal an enormous shipment of platinum ingots. This crime comedy chronicles what happens when they agree to the crazy caper.
