More than a Miracle

A 17th-century Spanish prince disobeys his mother the queen's wishes and rides away from the girls she has selected as his potential brides in search of adventure. This romantic fairy tale chronicles his exploits along the way. He is riding in the forest when his horse shies and he falls to the ground injured. The prince manages to make it to a monastery and there encounters a friar who can fly and perform other magic. The friar generously agrees to help the prince find true love. Unfortunately, she comes in the form of a beautiful peasant girl. Fortunately, the ingenious prince devises a contest that will make her eligible for his hand.
