Silver Dream Racer

British pop star David Essex stars as Nick Freeman, a garage mechanic who thinks he has what it takes to win a major motorcycle race. He certainly has the motorcycle -- a prototype which once belonged to his deceased older brother. He squares off against the arrogant American punkster Bruce McBride (Beau Bridges), legendary in motorcycle racing circles for his bad attitude and dirty tricks on the roadway, to win the World Motorcycle Championship title away from him.
