The unnatural love between two sisters (Lee Grant and Carol Kane) spells danger for anyone who tries to interfere in their relationship in this off-beat psycho drama that is based on a French play. Some of the chills have to do with the primate cage that exists inside their home (their late father was an anthropologist). The story is also known as The Mafu Cage or simply The Cage.
