The Heartbreak Yakuza

Shuji (Hiromi Go) is a gangster with a future as a hitman for the Daito mob in this violent crime drama. He gets in trouble when he allows rival gangster Kiuchi (Rikaya Yasuoka) to live. Shuji attends the wedding of a top crime boss and meets his childhood friend Yoshimasa (Koichi Sato), now a prostitute who caters to the gang. The two fall in love, and Shuji lets his guard down when he takes her dancing. The two survive a hail of gunfire in an unsuccessful attempt on their lives, but Yoshismasa is permanently blinded in the attack.
