Chronicles

The First Book of Chronicles is the first of two books (I Chronicles and II Chronicles) which retrace the history of man from Adam through the fall of Jerusalem. I Chronicles parallels lineage from Genesis to the very beginning of II Samuel with special emphasis on the reign of King David.

The Second Book of Chronicles is the second of two books (I Chronicles and II Chronicles) retracing the history of Israel. II Chronicles parallels much of II Samuel and the two books of Kings with special emphasis on the reign of King Solomon.
