The Generals of October

Set in the near future, a series of crises cause the United States to hold a Second Constitutional Convention to rewrite the U.S. Constitution to take into account the different, and far deadlier, world that exists. But instead of a new and stronger nation, the Second Constitutional Convention unleashes a greater crisis that threatens to destroy the nation and everything it represents.

Set in the year 2011, The Generals of October is a sweeping saga of treacherous military officers, deadly assassins, romance and personal heroism. The coup is codenamed Operation Ivory Baton, and only two people, David Gordon and Victoria "Tory" Breen, can find the key to prevent a national takeover and also resolve a terrible secret from her past. But time is running out.
