The Maiden's Song

To escape being sacrificed upon the King's death Naram-tani, a maiden with a divine singing voice, escapes on a trading boat captained by Sargon, a slave. For his mercy to her a vision is given to Sargon revealing a destiny beyond his own petty dreams-he will build an empire from the warring city-states of Mesopotamia.
