Instinct of Survival

Novice pilot Joe Bussil flies into an ice storm and crashes on the snow-covered Yukon Mountains. Everything Joe needs to survive is lost in the crash. Joe faces many ordeals in his new world--avalanches, a nemesis polar bear, a continuous search for food and shelter... and the Yukon itself, which Joe perceives as a living entity bent on destroying him. Two air traffic controllers who hear bits and pieces of Joe's distress call find themselves obsessed with finding him.
