Prisoner of Paradise

Based on David's encounters with the occult in South American. Over worked and stressed, his disrespect earns him a curse from the local guru. With nowhere left to turn, he must follow the mysterious poems left on his door. They tell his future; from falling in love, to betrayal and total self—destruction.

Author Biography: Sinhue Noriega is a 29 year old writer who lives in Southern California with his wife. They are expecting their first child. Sinhue has traveled to many places, including South America where he spent two years serving a mission for his church. There, he became acquainted with many indigenous traditions and strange dark customs, which he incorporated into the book. He has worked on several projects, including a newsletter entitled "Finding the Cat", which was circulated in cooperation with the humane society. He first became interested in writing at the age of eight, when his third grade teacher encouraged him to write. "It is a great feeling to have your work shared to an audience. I can still remember my peers' excitement as my teacher read my stories." Sinhue is currently working on his next fantasy novel, which he hopes to finish by December, in time for his child's birth.
