Frankie and Johnny were lovers all right. But their mutual ambitions as advertising executives ended their relationship. Frances Wallace is suspicious when John Woods is brought back to corporate headquarters from Seattle. She thinks he has returned to steal the promotion she has been eyeing for the last year.
