A Different Year: A Story of New Zealand

Marita made a wish that her mundane life would change. She liveed above her hairdressing salon in a seaside village which she describes as "boring Beaconhead" because nothing out of the ordinary ever happens there. A new year starts and she sees changes in her clients' lives which involve love, birth, death and relationships. As the year progresses she realises that her own life is changing too, and that this is certainly a different year.
