Gateway

Sandray is on the run and needs protection to reach her father. To stay alive she needs a guide to take her to her father's hiding place. If he can show her a good time on the way so much the better. She never plans on falling in love. Esterol does as he damn well pleases and plays for the stakes that suit him, women included. When he discovers Sandray has the means to re-open an ancient interstellar gateway, he becomes her companion, in every sense of the word. His heart just doesn't know it yet.
