Courting Disaster

Desertion, denial, desire--Courting Disaster is an adventure into the battle of the sexes. Winter's not yet gone at the Wharedish royal palace, but things are about to thaw out fast. Prince Brack and his lady wife have a platonic marriage that is all but lost. Brack, looking for amusement, sends missives to his hot-blooded Kadish chums but the results aren't anything like his expectations. Cheya of Ponarth arrives with her brother and the three brawling Tawyns, and creates a lot of heat between them and every man in the palace, including the prince. Before long, it's clear there is some conquering and squaring off to be done. And as Cheya befriends Brack's wife Rhystal she discovers there's more hidden than revealed with the ice princess. In Courting Disaster, men are brought to their knees in sword-slinging, tongue-lashing foreplay, and women rise above the hoopla to demonstrate why the queen always rules the board.
