Twenty years after the disappearance of the treasurer of Stonecroft Lakeside Resort, an article appears in the Ontario Times, "Whatever Happened to Harold Ramsey?" The townsfolk believe Ramsey embezzled funds and left town with Kate Darby. Blair Ramsey believes her husband is dead.
