The Dream Ender

The plague came, seemingly, from nowhere, striking down tens of thousands without reason or mercy; and the stricken community rallied for whatever protection it could find. When PI Dick Hardesty is hired to investigate the murder of a man who was a willing partner in the slaughter, he must wend his way through a convoluted maze of suspects to find the one person responsible. And, as always, he learns that things are never as simple as they first appear.
