Underneath It All

After her husband comes back from war and kills himself, Jenexa Coldwater Abran becomes a recluse to her mountain cabin. Her world revolves around making jewelry, caring for her dog, and attempting to keep normalcy in the strange relationship she's developed with her friend Danny, another veteran of war who is struggling emotionally with an amputation and the loss of his closest friend. Jen's also been having vivid sex dreams with a man in the woods, a nighttime tryst that takes her away from the world she's trying to escape. Her fantasies, however, prove real, and when an accident brings her face to face with Indio, the man who can't exist, she's forced to confront her past and save Danny from himself...
