Francisco watches with fascination as a large Carnival is set up inside the the Green Fence which surrounds the large empty space behind his house. When he is offered a job there by a small, green-eyed man he schemes (dreams?) his way Behind the Green Fence where he encounters the exotic people he dreams of and has a night full of adventure and mystery.
