Horace Ponsonby, an extremely wealthy, somewhat crazy, elderly man is obsessed by a life-long interest in ‘the ancients’. A dream causes him to engage British-based Reggie Riffkin, PI, on an assignment which promises him a hefty and life-saving bonus. Reggie's PI business has been very slack of late, and he needs the cash. The job is not as straighforward as Reggie hoped it would be.
