A tour group arrives to visit Easter Island. They come to learn about the often tragic history of the Rapanui people, to see the giant statues standing on their ahus and explore the caves. They find a society of friendly islanders but also hear some very odd legends. One man becomes obsessed with the birdman ceremony and then uncovers a long-held secret from the island's mysterious past.
