Was the Old West really won, or merely stolen? Opinions differ on that one.
We go back to a time when Law was more or less what men made up as they went along.
A runaway English teenage lout called Willie ends up in Carolina near the end of the Civil War and stumbles through a career of dishonesty and danger to that point in every man’s life where he has to pause and decide what kind of a man he is going to be.
He becomes Ben Grace, bravest man, fastest gun, and a target for every crook in Montana.
