In the 1930's a group of British garrison wives are escaping from the Indian heat in the only cool place in Gazepore. Their menfolk are away fighting the savage Pushtu on the Afghanistan border and they're bored. But what the ladies don't know is that the even more wily Prince Ravi has decided that this is a good time to break in some new remounts for his cavalry officers.
