Julia is a kindly London school-teacher whose little world is rattled by a visit to an overgrown graveyard and the discovery that she really should have paid more attention to her own history lessons. The Battle of Britain will be as vital to Julia as it was to her country, two generations before, and will take her all the way to New Zealand before that which she's supposed to find is found.
