This is a short story. Jack Santone had retired from the Seattle Police Force a year earlier and moved near the Gifford National forest for a blissful retirement full of endless fishing and camping excursions. But today he had not planned to be in hand to hand combat with a creature his friend Norm insisted did not exist.
