A Different Hunger

In Victorian London, young Rufus de Hunte is challenged to a duel and banished to New Zealand. During the voyage Rufus meets Serafina and falls in love. When Rufus is badly beaten and seems certain to die, Serafina turns him into a vampire too. When they reach New Zealand and Serafina is captured by Viviana, an ancient vampire, Rufus must find a way to rescue her and end Viviana’s vendetta.
