This is a tale based on a man, a man whom I am sure, you all know. Inside, he is a very modern man. He, like most ‘modern men’ deems himself the personification of good manners, good dress sense and of good moral character, and as such, deems himself a little better than most.
In reality, he is the personification of any man whom deems himself better than most, in fact; he is a little like you and me, and, like us, he has his clique of friends, a sense of ‘place’ in society and, just like you, he has his token of hedonistic pride; his needful thing, his communication device, which he constantly looks at when ‘abroad’ so to speak, and without, would feel exposed, even naked.
But what he has not got is his soul, well… not quite yet!
Please note* All places and characters mentioned or implied are real; both past, and present.
