An awkward shut-in (Andrew) is sent to a mall to get medicine and ends up meeting an off-putting volunteer gift wrapper (Anita). Their personalities clash, but Andrew takes a liking to Anita and returns to the mall again and again and again. As December goes on, the two develop an odd relationship, but a happy ending seems out of reach... until Christmas Eve.
