Under Investigation

This represents the short stories feauturing Ulysses S. Grant, future president and war hero, as the detective in a series of previously published mysteries. These works have appeared in anthologies and magazines over the past decade.

Each story takes place during the Civil War and many feature other historical characters of interest including Walt Whitman, Abner Doubleday and Sherman.

The collection contains nine works of deduction and suspence.
