The Girlfriend I Almost Lost

“The Girlfriend I Almost Lost” is an action-adventure, love story novel involving two girlfriends. Jimmy meets Phyllis at her dental practice, after a love affair with Darlene ends and she returns to England. They start dating and she falls madly in love with his European charm, not knowing that in real life, he is a Special Forces Commando for Air Rescue. Phyllis gets so infatuated with him that she proposes marriage to Jimmy and he politely tells her “no” because of his secret life. Feeling rejected, Phyllis and her girlfriend Jen go on a trip to Cancun only to have their airplane hijacked by the Drug Lord DeCruz and flown to Colombia, South America for ransom. Jimmy puts together an Air Rescue Team and rescues her and the other passengers. But, it’s a very surprised Phyllis when she comes face to face with her rescuer and it’s Jimmy.
