A young man from the 22nd century is flung into the distant past with a few of the machines he depends upon to keep him alive. Being a stranger, can he learn to live among those he comes into contact with and can he keep the machines he depends upon hidden so as not to be deemed a sorcerer and killed? The changes he must make and the growing up he must do to survive all test him to the limit.
