A small group of newly deceased find themselves in a mysterious afterlife with nothing but confusion and questions. They are greeted by experienced spirit who informs them that there is a power struggle against a corrupt soul. The group is taken in by the Resistance, who promise to end the evil reign of the man manipulating the living for his own personal gain.
