A man with a terminal illness returns from the Holy Land with an artifact he believes has the ability to heal. But it also brings out darker, primal desires from those it touches. He finds himself the object of sexual attraction as well as media attention. When the artifact is stolen he is panicked, and in his attempts to find it he is driven to the brink of murder as he discovers there is nothing he won't do to save his life.
