This collection contains two shorts stories, “Victory” and “Ignorant,” with motherhood playing a key role in both. “Victory” is a story of a starving homeless child who meets a woman on the street that offers him everything, but only for a price. “Ignorant” is a story of the power of tragedy to reconcile, but oftentimes too late.
