Civilization Ends; Surviving Begins

A worldwide event causes 99.9% of humanity to lose their sight. The remaining few try, in their lawful or unlawful ways, to survive. Technology like electric power continues for a time, but begins to fall apart as equipment fails and is not repaired.

In the span of a few days, human society goes from the 21st century to a feudal or worse era. The little band that Grant McKenzie collects battles many adversities in their effort to get out of the city and find a safe haven.
