Carl Phillips wasn't the brightest bulb in the package. He robs a convenience store and only gets $10.85. On his way out, he spots some scratch lottery tickets. He grabs a bunch as he leaves and his life will never be the same. How could a few silly scratch lottery tickets cause so much trouble? How's a crook supposed to make an honest living?
