Another mystery novel set in Yucatan, this time on an archaeological dig called Yaxum. Miriam Glass, the investigator from NYC teams up with Police Chief Contreras and with help from a Maya leader named Avram Ek Cab and various Maya deities, examines a bloody ritualistic murder of one of the archaeologists.
