The Pot Poachers

Kevin, a church missionary worker imprisoned in Sudan for smuggling food and water to a village attacked by a Muslim militia and recently released and recovering from malaria, has returned to his old neighborhood in San Diego to save his childhood best friend from becoming a crazy homeless person. For five years, Danny has been stuck in the past obsessing about the murders of Kevin’s parents believing that he and Kevin were ultimately responsible for their deaths because they were poaching marijuana from a canyon the night before.
