There were hundreds of the objects, falling all about, drifting on the morning breeze and glittering in the sunlight like diamonds. At first Nancy thought they were all of the same blue color, but then she noticed several with wisps of white scattered about on them. She took a few steps sideways and caught one of these pieces. She wanted to get a better look.
