Emanuel Cardoso is a restaurant reviewer, a drunk and a man with a grudge. He's decided on murder.
As the pieces of his plot come together, he stumbles on two sets of food-lovers each with its own loathsome version of 'you are what you eat'. One of them is out to kill Cardoso, the other wants to do something even worse.
