Stanley is an everyday slacker, stuck in a dead-end job, when fate, destiny, and/or a shipping error by a large e-commerce site bestow upon him a nearly-magical sword. When the universe throws a succession of mentally-unstable invisible ninjas, soulless college students, and small mythical creatures in his way, however, he's forced to confront the possibility that he just might actually be a hero.
