Danelle Lansing only wants a life without fear.

Hiding in a cottage along the coast of Washington State, she believes her greatest concern is avoiding capture by her senator husband, who she witnessed murder a woman.

When she is unwittingly indoctrinated into the Packs of a werewolf society, she soon graduates from a woman on the lam to a target test subject by yet another race of beings called Terrans, aliens who have hunted the Wolfinga for centuries in hopes of using their DNA to override a genetic curse.
